JOB DESCRIPTION
Assist the team leader in surveying the village and selecting suitable locations for water points and latrines. Chlorination of water sources. Check the quality of sand, gravel, and other construction materials on site. Follow concrete work and treatment of concrete elements. Keep a daily record of project progress. Assign vehicles, equipment, and skilled workers for daily project activities. Assist the team leader in mobilizing communities to participate in the project. Set up the emergency latrine properly according to the design. Conducting WASH technical survey. Follow up and monitor the distribution of water trucking and hygiene kits.
Assist the team leader in preparing assessment reports, wash surveys, stock reports, and attendance reports.
The incumbent must strictly adhere to the organization's current security policies, procedures, and daily instructions for the security personnel. Any other work assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
Education / Qualifications and Employment Benefits Education: University Degree in Civil Engineering, B.Sc. Experience: At least three (3) years of relevant experience in emergency wash-related projects. One advantage of other competencies: is strong communication skills and proper planning skills and community mobilization. Languages: Pashto, Dari, and English.
